THE LEARNING LAB’S FLEX SUMMER IS DESIGNED TO ALLOW FOR FLEXIBLE SUMMER SCHEDULES WHILE PREVENTING THE “SUMMER SLIDE”.
The Learning Lab’s FLEX Summer Is Helpful For Students Who:
- Need A Little Extra Support Maintaining Academic Momentum Over The Summer
- Need Practice In Any Of The Following Areas; Math, Writing, Reading Comprehension, And Reading Fluency
“Children lose about 20-30% of all academic gains over the summer. This is known as The Summer Slide.”
This program is tailored to each individual child’s summer schedule and specific academic goals. A subject area placement screening or full Learning Lab screening and evaluation process will be required to assess the appropriate level and assign the appropriate program to meet each child’s needs.
The data gathered from this assessment process is used to create baseline data to drive instruction. The investment for this program depends upon the amount of sessions scheduled. Morning and Afternoon time slots available.
