FLEX Summer Program
THE LEARNING LAB’S FLEX SUMMER IS DESIGNED TO ALLOW FOR FLEXIBLE SUMMER SCHEDULES WHILE PREVENTING THE “SUMMER SLIDE”.
For Summer 2025, we are excited to offer flexible tutoring options to meet a variety of student needs.This program is ideal for families looking for customizable schedules and focused instruction:
- One-on-One Sessions
Choose between 60-minute or 2-hour one-on-one sessions, tailored to each student’s learning goals. These sessions ensure individualized attention and measurable progress.
- Small Group Sessions
We’re excited to introduce small group sessions with 3 students to 1 tutor. These 90-minute sessions provide an interactive learning experience focused on key areas.
- Writing Intermediate
For students in grades 3-5. Developing structured, clear, and engaging writing skills for academic and personal success.
- Math Intermediate
For students in grades 3-5. Building a strong foundation and confidence in essential math concepts through targeted practice and enrichment.
- Middle School Prep
Preparing students for the transition to middle school with essential academic and organizational skills for success.
- Reading Foundations
Covering components of reading, including phonics, fluency, and comprehension, to support strong literacy development.
“Children lose about 20-30% of all academic gains over the summer. This is known as The Summer Slide.”
This program is tailored to each individual child’s summer schedule and specific academic goals. A subject area placement screening or full Learning Lab screening and evaluation process will be required to assess the appropriate level and assign the appropriate program to meet each child’s needs.
The data gathered from this assessment process is used to create baseline data to drive instruction. The investment for this program depends upon the amount of sessions scheduled. Morning and Afternoon time slots available.
